Architectural Engineering and Construction
Campaign Goal: To create a recognized and respected academic program to match what Nebraska’s private sector already has — some of the most recognized and respected names in the engineering, design and construction industry.
- Created the Charles W. Durham School for Architectural Engineering and Construction, the only program in the nation combining three disciplines for an integrated building system education.
- Established more than 50 new funds to support the programs comprising the Durham School, including student support, faculty support and many more.
- Created new classroom and learning support spaces for Durham School students, including a 36-seat classroom and a 20-seat classroom with long distance learning equipment and a state-of-the-art lab.
